Skills Development Center Mardan

This program was initiated in 2002 with a skill development center in Mardan, where the girls from extreme poor background given opportunity to develop skills in sewing, netting, embroidery and decoration making to increase their earning and self-dependency.

The salient feature of the program is to give opportunity to the girls who were facing different social issues due to financial burden on their families. The organization has supported around 4000/ girls and boys in different skills so far. Currently ZAMA is running in open scholarship programs and along with this established three centers of skill development and the fourth one is in pipeline to be establish in Rawalpindi Islamabad with special focus on the girls.
